Forum Post Removal Policy
Thank you for taking the time to review the stories shared on the XA Lions Den Forum. The platform has garnered over 3 million views and contains thousands of posts and comments.
We understand that you may wish to request the removal or modification of a post. If a moderator (XALionsDen) authored the post in question, our moderation team will carefully review your request and respond within three business days.
For posts authored by individual forum users, you must contact the user directly to request that they modify or remove their post.
Please note that we only modify or remove posts under extreme circumstances, which include:
Posts advocating violence against a specific individual.
Posts that disclose private contact information (doxing).
Posts containing images of minors.
Valid court orders requiring removal.
Additionally, the XA Lions Den moderators occasionally post stories or documents on behalf of users who have granted us explicit permission to share their accounts but prefer not to post directly due to personal or professional reasons. If you question the accuracy of one of these stories, we encourage you to share your version of the events in the forum for open discussion.
In addition, we reserve the right to remove posts or ban users who violate our Forum Rules.
The majority of requests to remove posts stem from issues such as factual disagreements, differing perspectives, recounting another person’s story, or general offense taken at the content. Our general responses to these concerns are outlined below:
Factual Disagreements:
It is common for multiple witnesses to provide conflicting accounts of the same event. If you believe the facts differ from those presented, we encourage you to contribute to the discussion by sharing your own version of events.Differing Perspectives:
As Proverbs 18:7 states, “In a lawsuit, the first to speak seems right, until someone comes forward and cross-examines.” While this site is not a legal forum, we recognize the value of multiple perspectives. If your viewpoint differs from the original post, we encourage you to share it.Recounting Another’s Story:
People’s experiences often intersect, making it difficult to distinguish where one person’s story ends and another’s begins. In some cases, hearing the accounts of both victims and abusers can become part of one’s own narrative. We strongly recommend that victims seek professional counseling from licensed providers for confidential support.General Offense:
Many of us have long sought resolution through internal processes, only to have our concerns ignored. We are deeply frustrated by the lack of response from Chi Alpha and Assemblies of God leadership, who had ample opportunity to address these matters privately and more respectfully. Unfortunately, their decision to ignore, gaslight, and minimize these issues has led to tragic consequences, including the abuse of children and the destruction of lives. If you find the content offensive, we advise you to cease viewing the site.
Please be aware that every forum user is responsible for the legal implications of their posts, including defamation. Both libel and slander fall under the category of defamation, which protects individuals from false statements that damage their reputations. Examples include:
Written claims accusing someone of criminal activity or inappropriate conduct.
Verbal statements alleging forgery or other illegal acts.
There are several legal defenses against defamation, including:
Truth: If the statement is true, there is no defamation case.
Opinion: Statements of opinion, rather than fact, generally do not constitute defamation.
Negligence: If the statement involves a public figure and the defendant can prove they were only negligent in assessing the truth, this may serve as a defense.
While the First Amendment protects free speech and the press, it also safeguards individuals from reputational harm caused by false statements. If you believe you are a victim of defamation, we encourage you to seek legal advice. As mentioned above, we will comply with valid court orders.
In conclusion, unless an extreme situation applies, we do not modify or remove user posts. You will need to directly contact the author to request any changes.
